These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Koppa Wood Design website and your purchase of products from our online store.

1. Scope

These Terms apply to all purchases made through our online store. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Return Policy, Shipping Policy, and any other policies displayed on our website.

2. Products and Craftsmanship

Our products are handcrafted in Japan using wood and other materials. Because natural materials and handcrafted processes are involved, variations in grain, color, knots, texture, dimensions, and shape may occur. These variations are natural characteristics of the product and are not considered defects.

Product images are provided for reference. Colors and details may appear different depending on your screen settings, lighting conditions, and the natural characteristics of each material.

3. Orders and Acceptance

When you place an order, you are submitting a request to purchase the selected products. An order is accepted when we confirm the order and successfully process payment.

We may refuse or cancel an order if a product or material is unavailable, a price or product description contains an error, payment cannot be processed, fraudulent activity is suspected, or other circumstances make fulfillment impracticable.

If payment has already been collected for a canceled order, we will issue a refund through the original payment method.

4. Pricing and Payment

Product prices, shipping charges, and any other amounts payable by you will be shown on the product page or at checkout.

Available payment methods and the timing of payment will be displayed at checkout. Unless otherwise stated, payment must be completed before production or shipment begins.

5. Production and Delivery

The standard production lead time for made-to-order products is approximately 1–3 weeks.

Production or delivery may take longer because of order volume, material availability, weather, carrier delays, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

You are responsible for providing an accurate and complete delivery address. If an order must be reshipped because of an incorrect or incomplete address, you may be responsible for the additional shipping costs.

International orders are subject to our separate International Shipping & Return Policy.

6. Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations

Returns and refunds for domestic orders are governed by our Return Policy.

Return requests must be submitted within 14 days of delivery. To be eligible for a return, an item must be unused, in its original condition and packaging, and a standard non-custom item.

Custom or commissioned orders, items returned after the 14-day return window, and items that have been used, damaged, or returned without their original packaging are generally not eligible for return.

For returns made for customer-related reasons, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

If an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible, preferably within 48 hours of delivery, with clear photographs of the item, packaging, and shipping label.

Once an approved return has been received and inspected, any refund will generally be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Nothing in these Terms or our Return Policy limits any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

7. Custom and Made-to-Order Products

Custom and made-to-order products may not be changed or canceled once materials have been ordered or production has begun.

Please carefully review all specifications, dimensions, materials, colors, and finishes before placing an order.

8. International Orders

International orders are subject to our International Shipping & Return Policy.

International shipping charges, customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, and other destination charges may apply. Unless expressly stated otherwise, these charges are the responsibility of the customer.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use our website or services to:

• Place an order using false or misleading information

• Use another person’s information or payment method without authorization

• Infringe the rights of Koppa Wood Design or any third party

• Copy, reproduce, modify, publish, or resell our products, photographs, text, or designs without permission

• Interfere with the operation or security of our website

• Violate any applicable law or regulation

10. Intellectual Property

All copyrights and other intellectual property rights in our website, photographs, text, logos, designs, drawings, images, and other content belong to Koppa Wood Design or the applicable rights holder.

You may not use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, or sell this content without our prior written permission.

11. Website Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our website or services when reasonably necessary, including for maintenance, security, technical issues, or business reasons.

12. Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for delays or failures caused by natural disasters, communication failures, carrier delays, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

If a product has a defect or other issue, we will review the circumstances and determine an appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement, refund, or another reasonable solution.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when necessary because of changes to applicable law, our services, or other business circumstances. Updated Terms become effective when posted on our website.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.

If a question or dispute arises concerning these Terms or a purchase, we will first attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith discussion.
